FAQs How Can We Help?

iNeuroRehab was created for physiotherapists who want  an online platform that provides:

Here is some additional information that may help answer your questions:

Why Choose Us?

Yes, after completing each course, you will receive a certificate of completion that you can apply to your continuing professional development activities.

The cost of the courses ranges between $72.00-$110.00 (CAD), depending on the length of the course.

Our pricing is quite competitive, especially when you consider that you don’t have to cancel your clinic appointments to attend a course, nor do you incur additional travel expenses.

iNeuroRehab is a great tool for physiotherapists, occupational therapists and other clinicians who are interested in neuro-rehab education. It can be used by both novice and seasoned clinicians alike, as well as students and physiotherapy assistants.

iNR was created for health care providers and clinicians, and it is not able to help persons who have experienced a neurological injury, their family, or other non-medical members of the community.

iNR is a great learning tool if you’re a clinician who wants:

  • A cost-effective way to continue their professional development
  • The flexibility to determine your own education activity schedule
  • To review the material as often as you would like
  • Ask movement experts how to translate concepts into treatment plans

It ensures that the confidentiality of the clients who are involved in the clinical demonstration is maintained. It also allows you to post your questions on the Forum

Dr. Julie Vaughan-Graham is a world-renowned Bobath Instructor (IBITA), seasoned clinician, academic scholar and a primary contributor to the development of the Model of Bobath Clinical Practice (hyperlink). She has taught internationally, given keynote addresses, and is an accomplished academic scholar with several publications. Collectively, she and her team have thousands of hours treating complex movement problems and clients with stroke, traumatic brain injury (TBI) and spinal cord injuries.

What will my learning experience be like?

YES! You can watch the 1-HOUR FREE lecture when you sign up for iNeuroRehab. You will then be given a certificate that you can apply to your continuing professional education portfolio.

You will receive a clinical pearl every week through our Teaching Tuesday video delivered directly to your email box.

We believe that our courses are competitively priced, and offer promotional discounts throughout the year.

iNeuroRehab is used by hundreds of clinicians across 5 continents. Our Forum allows iNeuroRehab members to connect with peers both locally and internationally to discuss common clinical challenges and share their successes!

If you have a difficult clinical challenge, you can also use our “ask an expert” feature for tailored, one-on-one virtual consultations.

Our Ask the Expert feature allows you to connect with a clinical movement specialist and receive a virtual one-to-one consultation with you alone or with your client present.

Each course has one or a combination of the following elements, that are related to the topic of the course:

  • Client Demonstration – illustrating the facilitation and treatment techniques
  • Clinical Reasoning – breaks down the elements of the treatment plan and how it was devised
  • Lecture – reviews the anatomy, physiology and current literature of neuro-rehabilitation

Like in a live course, you can ask your questions by posting them on our FORUM (Hyperlink), and one of our expert clinicians will happily address them. You can also visit the forum page to learn from the questions that others have asked, and learn from those responses too.

Neurorehabilitation Concepts

The principles of the Bobath concept include;

  • A functional movement analysis that considers the influence of sensory information on the relative interaction of the cognitive/perceptual processes and movement patterns.
  • The quality of movement performance is assessed on the ability to receive, integrate and respond to sensory information.
  • Facilitation is an active process that seeks to influence sensory information through therapeutic handling, and environmental and verbal cues.

Neuroplasticity is defined as the ability of the nervous system to change its activity in response to intrinsic or extrinsic stimuli by reorganizing its structure, functions, or connections after injuries, such as a stroke or traumatic brain injury (TBI).

The Bobath Concept is an individualized, therapeutic approach that optimizes movement recovery and potential for persons with neurological injuries, ranging from strokes to brain and spinal cord injuries.

  • “The concept provides a framework for the analysis of functional movement based on the understanding that neurological pathology affects the whole person”.
  • Intervention focuses on the recovery of typical movement, while minimizing atypical and compensatory ones
